Job Description

NetImpact Strategies, Inc. is seeking to hire an IT Service Desk Specialist to support a Federal Agency.

This role is located 100% onsite at Fort Eisenhower, Georgia

Candidates must be able to pass a background investigation.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide technical assistance, support, and advice to end users for hardware, software, and systems through phone, email, or chat, ensuring effective issue resolution
  • Resolve moderate to highly complex technical issues related to computer software, hardware, and operating systems, acting as the escalation point for technical problems
  • Manage mobile device support for local wireless handheld devices, including cell phones, smartphones, tablets, pagers, and mobile hotspots
  • Manage asset and inventory management support services for all assets (hardware, software) and peripherals managed by enterprise services (to include software license management and warranties).
  • Monitors the acquisition, storage, utilization, transfer, and disposal of property from the Asset Team.
  • Maintain physical inventory plans and procedures, schedules physical inventories, and assists in their completion
  • Notify the appropriate equipment repair contractor for equipment malfunctions covered by maintenance agreements and warranties
  • Perform quality checks on 2875 SAAR forms, provide an electronic copy to the Security Manager for approval, and provision approved accounts
  • Log and/or brief weekly activities, accomplishments, and upcoming tasks, identifying any risks, issues, or items of interest
  • Provide Emergency Request Management for out-of-cycle incidents to resolve a service outage or severe degradation of service delivery.
  • Adds final escalation of incidents, vendor management for warranties and repairs, quality checks, status reporting and queue management

Qualifications

Required Qualifications and Certifications:

  • Experience- Six (6) years of progressive experience demonstrating the required proficiency
  • Education- Bachelor’s degree and/or equivalency
  • IAT II: (CCNA-Security, GICSP, GSEC, Security+ CE, SSCP, CySA+ **) DoD 8570.01-M certificate requirement,
  • CE: Professional level certificate for supported technology

Preferred Qualifications and Certifications:

  • Previous Federal Consulting Experience.
  • Additional certifications such as CompTIA A+ or Microsoft Certified IT Professional
  • Experience with mobile device support, including wireless handheld devices such as cell phones, smartphones, tablets, pagers, and mobile hotspots
