Senior Solution Architect – Data Security

Job Description:

We are seeking an experienced Solution Architect for Data Security to design, implement, and manage robust data protection solutions across our organization. The ideal candidate will focus on Data Leakage Prevention (Email DLP, Endpoint DLP) and Microsoft Purview, while also architecting broader data security initiatives part of the strategy, e.g. including Digital Rights Management (DRM), Information Rights Management (IRM), Messaging DLP, Tokenization, and Cloud Access Security Broker (CASB) integration.

In this role, you will act as a strategic partner, translating complex business requirements into secure, scalable, and efficient solutions, ensuring the highest levels of data integrity, confidentiality, and availability and support threat mitigation and risk reduction.

Responsibilities

• Architect end-to-end Data Security solutions, focusing on Email DLP, Endpoint DLP, and Microsoft Purview, Digital Rights Management (DRM) and Information Rights Management (IRM), CASB or Cloud Data Protection.
• Develop secure, scalable architectures that comply with regulations (e.g., BAFIN, PCI-DSS, GDPR, HIPAA) and financial standards, ensuring solutions meet compliance and internal policies.
• Collaborate with security teams, business units, and IT stakeholders to architect technical solutions that meet data protection needs, while effectively balancing priorities and needs.
• Conduct security risk assessments and recommend mitigation strategies by reviewing threats, risks and solution capabilities. Support the development of policies and configurations e.g. for DLP, Microsoft Purview, IRM, and related tools.
• Recommend improvements and optimizations to existing architectures. Create and maintain detailed solution architecture documentation, including business user friendly diagrams.

Skills

• Extensive experience in architecting Data Leakage Prevention (DLP) solutions and Microsoft Purview, with strong understanding of Cloud Security and CASB integration into hybrid environments.

• Experience with Data Loss Prevention in SaaS environments (e.g., O365, Google Workspace). Exposure to Data Discovery and Data Classification tools.
• Demonstrated experience in designing large-scale, enterprise-grade security architectures.
• Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to translate complex technical concepts into business terms, with experience collaborating across multi-disciplinary teams.

• Strong problem-solving abilities and analytical skills, including a forward-thinking and forward-looking mindset. While adaptive to discover new topics and solutions.
