About the Role: We are looking to hire a passionate, Security Engineer to join our growing team. This person will be reporting to the CTO. In this role, the candidate will seize a unique opportunity to work with data from Fortune 500 companies' legal and risk departments, developing the most secure, enterprise-grade software using the latest in Generative AI. The opportunity to tackle challenges in creating cloud-agnostic solutions, maintaining stringent security and compliance standards, and building scalable, resilient platforms for enterprise applications, data, AI, and search also exist while you will be able to routinely innovate on behalf of our customers, collaborating with the world's top legal and risk experts, as well as preeminent business, technology, AI professionals, and engineers.
Key Responsibilities:
- Act as the primary security contact, for customers and internal stakeholders.
- Lead the security & compliance program and all its external audits such as SOC2 Type II and ISO27001 incl. ongoing control monitoring and improvements.
- Perform security audits of products and cloud infrastructure and drive remediation of security risks.
- Detect, defend, and respond to threats to the company and its customers.
- Establish a strong security program incl. security operations,
- Collaborate with product management and engineering to build security into product roadmaps.
- Maintain clear communication with all stakeholders, providing regular updates on progress and outcomes.
Qualifications:
- 4+ years of experience in application security engineering and cloud security (AWS/GCP/Azure) with experience in supporting external audits (SOC2 Type II, ISO27001).
- Security domain knowledge across many cyber security disciplines.
- Experience in static code analysis and remediation.
- Experience in security operations (SOC) and incident response.
- Proficiency in programming languages such as Python.
- Experience in client-facing roles, with excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- A passion for AI/ML technologies and a desire to work on innovative solutions that drive significant impact for customers.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience with compliance frameworks such as ISO42001.
