Summary

We are seeking an experienced Senior Program Manager to lead a high-visibility Defense Information Systems Agency (DISA) Cybersecurity contract. The PM will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of contract execution, ensuring alignment with DISA’s mission to protect and defend DoD networks. This role requires strategic leadership, program oversight, financial management, and stakeholder engagement to drive cybersecurity initiatives supporting national defense. This role will have oversight across multiple US locations. Primary place of performance will be Pensacola, FL where an on-site presence is required.

Responsibilities

  • Program Leadership: Manage the successful execution of a multi-million dollar DISA cybersecurity contract, ensuring all technical and programmatic objectives are met.
  • Strategic Planning: Align contract execution with DISA’s cybersecurity priorities, emerging threats, and DoD policies.
  • Stakeholder Engagement: Serve as the primary interface with DISA leadership, government officials, and industry partners.
  • Resource Management: Oversee a team of cybersecurity engineers, analysts, and IT professionals, ensuring optimal staffing and skill alignment.
  • Financial & Risk Management: Monitor contract budget, expenditures, and risk, ensuring compliance with DoD regulations and contract requirements.
  • Performance Metrics & Reporting: Track KPIs, provide regular status reports, and ensure program deliverables meet or exceed expectations.
  • Compliance & Security: Ensure adherence to DoD cybersecurity policies, NIST guidelines, and RMF processes.
  • Innovation & Process Improvement: Drive technical advancements, automation, and best practices in cybersecurity operations.

Qualifications

  • 10+ years of experience in program management supporting DoD cybersecurity or IT programs.
  • 5+ years of experience managing contracts within DISA or similar DoD agencies.
  • Top Secret clearance – required.
  • ITIL certification – preferred.
  • Active PMP, PgMP, or DAWIA Level III Certification - preferred.
  • Technical knowledge in cybersecurity tools, cloud security, data analytics, and defensive cyber operations (DCO).
  • Proven experience leading cross-functional teams in a fast-paced environment.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and leadership skills.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Master’s Degree in Cybersecurity, Information Technology, or Business.
  • Familiarity with Agile or DevSecOps methodologies in cybersecurity environments.

Posted Min Pay Rate

USD $140,000.00/Yr.

Posted Max Pay Rate

USD $180,000.00/Yr.

Salary Disclosure

Actual salary will be based on a variety of factors including but not limited to experience, geographic location, contract affordability, internal equity, education, and certifications. The upper end of the salary range may be reserved for individuals who have demonstrated tenure with the company, seniority, and proven excellent performance. This includes factors such as education, certifications, and extensive/unique experience beyond what is required.
