The Opportunity: 

As a cyber mission specialist, you understand the threats, risks, and mitigation defenses applicable to critical operations. At Booz Allen, you can use your mission cyber experience to create solutions that will be used to help our clients solve their most complex problems. We’re looking for an experienced cyber mission specialist like you to apply your knowledge in cybersecurity risk analysis, security requirements definition, security solution designs, structured system engineering, cyber risks as engineering risks, supply chain risk, secure network protocols, space-ground communications standards, IT systems security, and the NIST Risk Management Framework (RMF).

In this role, you’ll be counted on to understand cyber threats to space missions, to identify end-to-end risks across every dataflow, to identify mitigations appropriate to each project’s risk appetite, and help our clients achieve the necessary authorization. This is an opportunity to use your research and analysis abilities to adequately assess and inform mission partners and senior leadership on cybersecurity threats to their missions.

You Have:   

• Experience working directly with system stakeholders to interpret complex requirements, assess impacts to mission success, and recommend solutions  

• Ability to articulate cybersecurity requirements to systems engineers and senior leaders

• Ability to obtain a Secret clearance

• Bachelor's degree

   

Nice If You Have:   

• Experience supporting space systems in a client environment 

• Knowledge of systems engineering practices

• Secret clearance

Salary at Booz Allen is determined by various factors, including but not limited to location, the individual’s particular combination of education, knowledge, skills, competencies, and experience, as well as contract-specific affordability and organizational requirements. The projected compensation range for this position is $84,600.00 to $193,000.00 (annualized USD). The estimate displayed represents the typical salary range for this position and is just one component of Booz Allen’s total compensation package for employees.
