- Collaborate with Product Owners, Business Analysts, Application Owners, Enterprise Architects, and DevOps teams to deliver robust, scalable cloud infrastructure solutions.
- Develop and deploy Infrastructure as Code using Azure CLI, PowerShell, ARM templates, and BICEP to enhance automation and streamline operations.
- Implement and manage proactive system administration, including monitoring and tuning to ensure the stability and performance of applications and services.
- Design, implement, and oversee security measures for data at rest and in transit, utilizing Azure Identity and Security services to maintain high security standards.
- Administer and support Azure Active Directory, Windows Active Directory, and associated group policies to ensure effective identity and access management.
- Contribute to the development and implementation of IT policies and controls, ensuring alignment with security protocols and compliance requirements.
- Mentor team members within the Infrastructure and Network Operations (INO) team to elevate skills and align efforts with organizational goals and future technology roadmaps.
- Engage in regular cross-functional meetings to discuss cloud infrastructure initiatives and ensure effective stakeholder communication regarding cloud security standards.
- Create and maintain comprehensive documentation of infrastructure configurations, maintenance procedures, and monitoring baselines using Microsoft Office Suite, including Visio.
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related field, or 7+ years of relevant experience in cloud computing environments.
- 7+ years of experience managing enterprise-level tenants in Microsoft Azure, demonstrating advanced proficiency.
- A minimum of 5 certifications from the following is preferred: Azure Solutions Architect Expert, Azure Administrator Expert, Azure DevOps Engineer Expert, Azure Security Engineer Associate, Cybersecurity Architect Expert, Identity and Access Administrator Associate, Azure AI Engineer Associate.
- Advanced skills in Microsoft Azure, including design, deployment, configuration, and maintenance of solutions adhering to well-architected standards.
- Extensive experience in Infrastructure as Code utilizing Azure CLI, PowerShell, ARM templates, and BICEP.
- Proficiency in Azure Identity and Security services, with experience in implementing solutions for data security and identity management.
- Mastery of Microsoft Office Suite, including Visio, indicating advanced proficiency.
- Detailed experience with ITIL Service Management frameworks, including Incident Management, Critical System Event Management, and Change Management.
- Intermediate experience with Azure Active Directory, ensuring effective design, implementation, and administration.
- Sound knowledge of IT hardware and software, exhibiting expert understanding.
- Demonstrated ability to participate in cross-functional team meetings and handle stakeholder communications effectively.
- Experience with other cloud platforms such as AWS or Google Cloud Platform, providing a broader understanding of cloud ecosystems.
- Knowledge of containerization technologies like Docker and Kubernetes for application deployment and management.
- Familiarity with agile project management methodologies, enhancing ability to adapt to dynamic team workflows.
- Strong skills in scripting languages such as Python or Bash for advanced automation tasks.
- Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP) certification, boosting expertise in security measures.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities, aiding in effective decision-making processes.
- Strong leadership and mentoring skills to facilitate team development and growth.
- Leadership and Mentoring: Demonstrates leadership by guiding the Infrastructure Operations (INO) team to enhance skills and achieve alignment with organizational goals, fostering a culture of continuous learning and collaboration.
- Communication: Effectively communicates complex technical concepts to all levels of the organization, ensuring clear understanding of cloud security standards and infrastructure solutions among stakeholders.
- Collaboration: Works collaboratively across IT and business units to deliver scalable solutions, facilitating regular cross-functional team meetings to ensure seamless integration and alignment with business objectives.
- Problem-Solving: Exhibits strong problem-solving skills, identifying and resolving infrastructure and software application issues to maintain system stability and performance.
