Responsibilities

Your essential job functions will include but may not be limited to:

• You will help with the execution of tasking in the following areas: DevSecOps, Requirements management, Architecture, Integration, Verification and Validation, Transition, Configuration Management, Software Engineering, Cybersecurity, Cloud Technology Services, Multi-level Security Solutions, and Software Development Lifecyle.• Embrace and champion Agile development processes and adopt modern DevSecOps workflows and practices.• Help write documentation for DevSecOps standards, processes, designs, and other required documentation.• Assist in the task creation for DevSecOps team members.• Contribute to the implementation, expansion, configuration, compliance, security, operations, and maintenance of multiple technologies and tools to make up an entire software factory.• Contribute to site reliability activities of the software factory.• Contribute to CI/CD activities for the software factory infrastructure and tooling.• Ensure the security and other best practices are being used throughout all processes.• Collaborate with Information Assurance and Cybersecurity teams to ensure security controls are implemented and requirements are met.• Collaborate with Cloud team to ensure software factory needs are tracked for execution by Cloud team.• Help identify and mitigate technological or process related risks impacting development or progress.• Ensure that you are meeting tasking deadlines, helping the team mitigate risks, and deliverables are complete and ready on time.

Qualifications

• 2-8 years experience in software engineering/development

• Experience with container tools like Docker and Podman, container management, andassociated technologies like Kubernetes• Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and process workflows (GitLab CI, Jenkins, etc)• Understanding of version control tools, i.e. Git• Experience with modern Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools like Packer, Terraform,Ansible• Familiarity or experience interacting with modern cloud providers and relatedtechnologies, such as Amazon Web Services or Microsoft Azure, or Google Cloud Services• Familiarity with processes like: Agile Development, DevOps, and DevSecOps• Knowl;edge with modern Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools like Packer, Terraform, Ansible• Experience with one or more modern Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools like Packer, Terraform, Ansible• Skill sets in in at least one or more high-level programming languages (e.g. Golang, Java, C++)• Proven skillsets in at least one or more scripting languages (e.g. Python, Bash, Powershell

Desired Skills:

• Demonstrated skill sets in in at least one or more high-level programming languages(e.g. Golang, Java, C++)• You must be able to work both independently and in a collaborative team environment• You must be able to meet required schedules and timelines• You must be able to communicate technical issues and provide written, oral and/ordigital products• You must have good analytic skills and the ability to apply these skills in a multi-taskingenvironment where more than one project may require his/her participation at a giventime (typically one primary project and one or two ancillary projects)

Education:

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Engineering or Computer Science field

Clearance Requirements:

• Must have an Active DoD Top Secret Security Clearance
