Location: Remote with travel to the client as needed. Willingness to travel 50%, on average, based on the work you do and the clients you serve.
We are seeking an exceptional leader to spearhead our Quantum Security Consulting Practice. This role vision and the combination of experience and knowledge to blend cutting-edge quantum computing knowledge with cybersecurity expertise. The role will drive our organization forward in this rapidly evolving field.
The ideal candidate will be a thought leader in the intersection of quantum computing and cybersecurity, capable of driving innovation and establishing our organization as a pioneer in this emerging field. They will possess a unique blend of technical expertise, business acumen, and leadership skills necessary to navigate the complexities of quantum security consulting. This role offers an exciting opportunity to shape the future of cybersecurity in the quantum era, working with cutting-edge technologies and addressing some of the most critical challenges facing organizations today. The successful candidate will be pivotal in protecting our clients' assets and information in an increasingly complex digital landscape.
Responsibilities:
- Build and lead the industry-leading Quantum Security Consulting Practice
- Develop strategies to address emerging quantum-related cybersecurity challenges
- Oversee client engagements, ensuring high-quality service delivery and client satisfaction
- Anticipate future quantum computing threats and opportunities and devise proactive strategies to counter them
- Communicate complex quantum security concepts effectively to diverse stakeholders, including executives, technical teams, and clients
- Build and maintain strategic relationships with key clients and industry partners
- Drive business development efforts to expand the practice's client base and revenue
- Mentor and develop team members, fostering a culture of continuous learning and innovation
- Collaborate with other practice areas to integrate quantum security considerations into broader cybersecurity solutions
Qualifications:
- Advanced degree in Computer Science, Quantum Physics, or related field
- 10+ years of experience in cybersecurity, with a strong focus on quantum computing and its security implications
- Proven track record of building and leading a consulting practice or similar business unit
- Deep understanding of quantum computing principles and their potential impact on cryptography and cybersecurity.
- Strong technical background coupled with excellent business acumen
- Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to explain complex concepts to both technical and non-technical audiences
- Demonstrated ability to build and maintain client relationships at the executive level
- Certifications such as CISSP, CISM, or equivalent, with additional quantum computing certifications preferred.

Compensation at DXC is influenced by an array of factors, including but not limited to the experience, job-related knowledge, skills, competencies, as well as contract-specific affordability and organizational requirements. A reasonable estimate of the current compensation range for this position is $114,200 - $212,000.Full-time hires are eligible to participate in the DXC benefit program.
