Job Description: 

Threat Detection Technology team is a small, high output team in the Software and AI IP Group. Our team invents next generation "AI for Security" solutions to detect cyber threats using Intel CPU features and machine learning techniques http://www.intel.com/tdt. Solutions developed by our team have been deployed in over a Billion systems. We are seeking a motivated Machine Learning Engineer to join our team to work on an Artificial Intelligence (AI) model productization. The successful candidate will work on end-to-end ML pipelines from data processing, cleaning, labeling, training, optimizing, inferencing, retraining, and serving. Also, investigate the latest research in these areas and apply it to real world products that benefit our customers. . The responsibilities will include but not be limited to:
  • Develop and implement machine learning algorithms and models in Python, C, and C++.
  • Building end-to-end ML workflows on AWS and on-premise infrastructure.
  • Developing automation for machine learning training and inference processing.
  • Maintain and improve existing machine learning codebases for efficiency and robustness.
  • Participate in the full software development lifecycle, including design, coding, testing, and deployment.

Qualifications:

You must possess the below minimum qualifications to be initially considered for this position. Preferred qualifications are in addition to the minimum requirements and are considered a plus factor in identifying top candidates. Minimum qualifications: The candidate must possess one of the following:
  • Bachelor's degree in Software Engineering, Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering with at least 6 years experience in developing code using C and C++ for performance-critical applications.
  • OR Master's degree in Software Engineering, Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering with at least 4 years experience in developing code using C and C++ for performance-critical applications.
  • Your experience should be in the following:
    • Experience in developing code using C and C++ for performance-critical applications.
    • Proficiency in Python with a strong command of ML libraries like (ex. numpy, scipy, sklearn, pyarrow, pybind11)
    • Deep knowledge of Machine learning algorithms.
    • Good understanding of Object Oriented concepts and Design patterns
    • Familiarity with machine learning deployment strategies and containerization tools (e.g., Docker, Kubernetes)
    • Proficiency in diagnosing technical problems, debugging code, and automating routine tasks.
 Preferred Qualifications: 
  • Working experience in computer security, malware analysis, and detection.
  • Deep knowledge of Operating Systems, C/C++ programming, data structures, and CPU architectures.
  • Agile software development.
  • Linux development tools.
  • Experience with continuous integration and continuous delivery tools (ex. Jenkins, Github, CMAKE)

Annual Salary Range for jobs which could be performed in the US:

$188,700.00-$266,400.00

Salary range dependent on a number of factors including location and experience.

Work Model for this Role

This role will be eligible for our hybrid work model which allows employees to split their time between working on-site at their assigned Intel site and off-site. * Job posting details (such as work model, location or time type) are subject to change.
