###### HYBRID ROLE 3 days in office ###############

As a Senior Python Developer, you will work on cybersecurity-related projects, focusing on developing middleware to call APIs and ingest data into a central repository. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to design, develop, and implement robust and scalable solutions. You will be part of an exciting team work as a senior developer on the cybersecurity Kubernetes and generative runtime AI security team.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and maintain middleware solutions for calling APIs and ingesting data into a central repository.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design and implement cybersecurity solutions.
• Write clean, efficient, and well-documented code.
• Perform code reviews and provide mentorship to junior developers.
• Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to data ingestion and middleware functionality.
• Ensure code quality and adherence to best practices and coding standards.
• Stay up-to-date with industry trends and emerging technologies in cybersecurity and software development.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Statistics, Engineering, Mathematics, Economics, Business Analytics, MLOps, Data Science, Accounting, or a related field is required.
• 5+ years of previous work experience managing large datasets and programming.
• 5 years of experience in full SDLC methodologies and implementation methods; testing experience is a plus.
• 2+ years In-depth experience in Extract, Transformation, and Load (ETL) techniques.
• 5 years of Expert-level knowledge in Python.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Docker and/or Kubernetes experience
• Experience with cybersecurity projects and tools.
• Familiarity with cloud platforms and services.
• Knowledge of API design and development.
• Understanding of data security and privacy best practices.
• Expert knowledge and experience with object-oriented methodology, development, and toolsets.
• Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills.

Compensation Range:

70,000.00 - 140,000.00 USD Annual

The compensation range represents the low and high end of the base compensation range for this position. Actual compensation will vary and may be above or below the range based on various factors including but not limited to location, experience, and performance.  Colleagues in this position are also eligible to participate in an applicable incentive compensation plan.  In addition, Huntington provides a variety of benefits to colleagues, including health insurance coverage, wellness program, life and disability insurance, retirement savings plan, paid leave programs, paid holidays and paid time off (PTO).
