About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated Cloud Security Engineer to work alongside Damian Finol, our Head of DevSecOps. You will play a critical role in safeguarding our users' data and ensuring the integrity of our platform. You will be responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining robust cybersecurity measures to protect our infrastructure against cyber threats.

Responsibilities

• Firewall Management: Configure and maintain network & web applications firewalls to control inbound and outbound traffic, protecting our systems from unauthorized access.
• Networking Security: Implement security protocols, and manage EDRs (SentinelOne) and best practices across our network infrastructure to mitigate risks and vulnerabilities.
• Alerting and Monitoring: Develop and oversee effective monitoring systems to detect and respond to security incidents in a timely manner.
• Email Security: Implement measures to protect our email infrastructure from phishing attacks, spam, and other email-borne threats.
• Identity and Access Management (IAM): Help us manage user roles, permissions, and access controls to ensure that only authorized individuals have access to sensitive data and to execute sensitive commands.
• Vulnerability Management: Conduct regular vulnerability assessments to identify and proactively address security weaknesses in our systems and applications.
• Application Security: Collaborate with development teams to ensure that security is built into our applications from the outset, following secure coding practices and implementing security controls.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Cybersecurity, or a related field
• 5+ years of experience in cybersecurity engineering or a similar role
• Highly Preferred: Professional Cloud Security Engineer certification from
• Strong understanding of network security principles, protocols, and technologies
• Proficiency in network and web application (WAF) firewall administration and configuration in a
• Experience with security monitoring and alerting tools (e.g., SIEM, IDS/IPS)
• Knowledge of vulnerability management and penetration testing methodologies
• Familiarity with IAM concepts and best practices
• Strong problem-solving and analytical skills
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
