Job Summary
The Security Systems Analyst works closely with the Infrastructure team to maintain secure environment. The position will provide security monitoring, response and support with managing vulnerabilities assessment and response, threats identification, and mitigation as well as data loss protection.
Primary Responsibilities
- Configure, maintain and account for all AntiVirus/AnitMalware software installations throughout the organization
- Generate and review AntiVirus/AntiMalware reports and weekly basis and provide report summary to management
- Monitor and review Internet and communication traffic for potential threats. This include reviewing requests for Web sites access using Websense - Triton APX
- Review DLP logs for email, data, and web traffic
- Investigate and report incidents relating to AntiVirus/AntiMalware and DLP events
- Maintain configuration and approval process for systems in WSUS while ensuring all systems are inventoried
- Provide assistance with implementation of security controls for critical applications and systems throughout ComPsych network to ensure security standards and guidelines are met
- Configure, maintain, and conduct vulnerability scans for external and internal systems and provide reports
- Maintain, update and report while working with teams on mitigation plans for configuration compliance scans
- Work with the all IT teams to assist with any security mitigation efforts to ensure timely resolution
- Assist 3rd party vendors with conducting annual penetration testing and coordinate effort to mitigate found vulnerabilities
- Maintain outage schedules in effort to apply patches and remediation to security threats
- Maintain subscriptions to vendors’ security/vulnerability alerts
- Assist with creating new and maintain existing systems’ security baselines
- Conduct preproduction implementation scans of all systems to make sure systems they adhere to ComPsych’s security baselines
- Review and maintain inventory and documentation for “golden images” for corporate workstations and assist with server images
- Monitor QRadar and other SIEM technologies for possible security breach attempts – maintain systems’ inventory and create, maintain alerts and review logs with main focus on event correlation
- Coordinate and document investigation and reporting of security incidents
Participates in an on-call rotation
Job Qualifications
- Experience in information systems risk analysis, management and compliance
- Knowledge of current Windows Server and Workstation Operating Systems, Active Directory and WSUS environments
- Knowledge of AntiVirus and AntiMalware Technologies
- Knowledge of Linux Operating Systems is a plus
- Knowledge of OS and application based firewalls
- Good knowledge of TCP/IP protocol stack
- Good analytical and documentation skills
- Familiar with IDS/IPS Technologies
