The Opportunity:
As an AFRICOM Threat Integrator, you will provide theater-level planning and action officer support that assists the geographic combatant command in meeting its strategic and campaign objectives in the areas of force protection and mission assurance.
Responsibilities:
- As an AFRICOM Threat Integrator, you will directly support the Force Protection Branch of the AFRICOM J34 Force Protection and Mission Assurance Division.
- As an AFRICOM Threat Integrator, you will provide technical expertise and assist the government and implement effective processes to integrate and fuse all sources of available threat information to provide a continuous analysis of threat information. You will be expected to use independent work to identify and conduct critical analysis on available threat information to understand and communicate force protection implications to the government for action.
- You will serve as the J34 principal advocate to the Intelligence Community (IC) tasked with providing intel support to Force Protection, collaborate with the wider IC to support the Threat Warning process, connecting IC threat analysis into all facets of Antiterrorism/Force Protection (AF/FP) programs and functions to mitigate the risk to force and mission.
- You will fuse intelligence, counterintelligence, and law enforcement information to provide an understanding of local threat pictures and leverages existing intel sources and AT/FP related working groups, executive committees, and boards to provide the function of risk mitigation support and provide any AT/FP implications based on J2 intelligence assessments.
- You will effectively integrate as the J34 representative within AFRICOM J2 elements tasked to provide intel support to FP and be responsible for day-to-day oversight for J34 intelligence requirements.
- As an AFRICOM Threat Integrator, you will provide assessments of the operational environment and provide AFRICOM and subordinate commands with assessment reports to include non-traditional information collection activities, threat trends, current and/or emerging crises, operational environments, terrorism/counter-terrorism threats, anti-terrorism (AT), force protection (FP), and additional information as required by the Government.
- As an AFRICOM Threat Integrator, you will support the Joint Risk Assessment Management Program (JRAMP) interface and Force Protection Condition monitoring.
Qualifications:
Required:
- Active TOP SECRET Clearance with eligibility for SCI
- Knowledge of and experience with AT/FP operations, activities, and initiatives as well as applicable AT/FP doctrine, strategies, and operations.
- A Bachelor’s Degree in an applicable discipline with 7 years’ experience or 10 years’ overall experience
Desired:
· Prior experience working in Africa or at AFRICOM or at one of its Service
components.

The proposed salary range for this position is:
