Job Title: Director of Security Operations Center (SOC)

Location: Miami, Florida

Our client, a leading Managed Security Services Provider (MSSP), is seeking an experienced and dynamic Director of Security Operations Center (SOC) to join their team. This role is critical in overseeing the day-to-day operations of the SOC, ensuring the highest level of security for our clients, and driving continuous improvement in our security services.

Responsibilities:

• Lead and manage the SOC team, including hiring, training, and performance evaluations
• Develop and implement security policies, procedures, and best practices
• Oversee incident response processes and ensure timely resolution of security incidents
• Collaborate with other departments to align SOC activities with business objectives
• Manage relationships with key technology partners and vendors
• Provide regular reports to executive management on SOC performance and security metrics
• Stay updated on emerging threats and security trends to enhance SOC capabilities
• Ensure compliance with industry standards and regulations
• Optimize SOC processes for efficiency and effectiveness
• Manage the SOC budget and resource allocation

Requirements:

• Minimum 3 years of experience managing a SOC, preferably for an MSSP
• Strong leadership and team management skills
• In-depth knowledge of cybersecurity principles, frameworks, and best practices
• Experience with a wide range of security technologies and tools
• Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
• Ability to work in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment
• Relevant industry certifications (e.g., CISSP, CISM, GCIA) preferred
