Position Summary
Join PGE as an Associate Operational Compliance Analyst and play a critical role in ensuring our operations meet evolving NERC and OPUC regulations. In this role, you’ll research, develop, and refine compliance procedures to keep our teams aligned with industry standards while identifying and mitigating potential risks. You’ll work closely with cross-functional teams to analyze regulatory updates, assess operational impacts, and implement compliance controls that enhance efficiency and reliability.
Your work will involve tracking and documenting compliance data, assisting with internal and external audits, and providing guidance on regulatory requirements to stakeholders across the organization. Key Responsibilities
Operational Procedures, Processes and Practices:
Under supervision, researches and analyzes new or revised regulations, requirements, and standards.
Modifies or develops new work procedures, practices and protocols to ensure or enhance compliance.
Writes and revises standards and provides guidance on implementation.
Compliance Monitoring and Review:
Supporting tracking and documentation of data related to compliance controls.
Identifies gaps, analyzes trends, and recommends remediation strategies.
Collaborates with Corporate Regulatory Compliance on initiatives and reviews.
Consultation and Outreach:
Responds to complex questions about compliance standards and regulations, procedures and processes.
Provides guidance and delivers training to others within operational domain.
Research and Analysis:
Monitors regulatory and industry websites and other information channels for decisions and developments related to compliance.
Researches changes in technology, process, or regulation.
Analyzes implications, determines which procedures or processes are impacted, and makes recommendations to management.
Compliance Audits:
Assists with internal and external audits of federal regulatory compliance matters conducted throughout the company.
Qualifications
Education/Experience/Certifications:
Requires a bachelor’s degree in finance, business, technical field or other related field or equivalent experience.
Typically, two or more years in utility operations, cyber security or auditing, which includes at least two years of FERC/NERC.
NERC certification preferred.
Valid driver’s license required.

Compensation Range:
$74,325.00 - $123,875.00Actual total compensation, including a performance based incentive bonus, is commensurate with experience, skills, qualifications, education, training, and internal equity. While we anticipate the selected candidate for this position will fall towards the middle or entry point of the compensation range, the decision will be made on a case-by-case basis.
