JOB POSITION

Carelon Global Solutions India is seeking a highly skilled and senior Okta Engineer/Admin to join our dynamic Web Access Management Team. Who can work independently and will play a crucial role in ensuring the security, efficiency, and seamless functioning of our identity and access management Systems.

JOB RESPONSIBILITY

2-4 years of experience with a reputed Services / consulting firm offering Security Consulting, Implementation and Managed Security

2-4 years of technical experience in Security Operations Center (SOC) and Cyber Security Incident Response (CSIRT).

Experience with one or more Security Information and Event Management (SIEM) solutions. (such as Splunk, QRadar, ArcSight, Jask, Sumo Logic) & EDR (Endpoint detection & response)

• Possess strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and excellent verbal and written English communication skills.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills are needed to perform the job of a SOC analyst.
• Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with co-workers, managers and internal and/or external customers.
• Ability to drive calls as a incident coordinator during major incidents
• Experience in security monitoring, log analysis, Incident Response (IR), and security remediation.
• Should be familiar with handling and mitigating attacks related to viruses, spoofing, ransomware, and malware.
• Should be familiar with emerging security threats and their attack vectors.
• Should be able to function as an effective team member and be self-motivated.
• Should be flexible with shifts and working on weekends.

QUALIFICATION

• Bachelor’s or master’s degree in computer science, Information Technology or related field.

EXPERIENCE

• 2 - 4 years of experience in CSOC, Incident response
• 2-3 years of experience in CSIRT (Cyber Security Incident Response Team)
• 2+ years of experience in endpoint forensics
• Able to work independently

SKILLS AND COMPETENCIES

• Understanding of network protocols (TCP/IP stack, SSL/TLS, IPSEC, SMTP/IMAP, FTP, HTTP etc.)
• Understanding of Operating System, Web Server, database and Security (firewall/NIDS/NIPS) logs and log formats.
• Cybersecurity certifications are highly desired.
• Able to work independently with strong problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.
• Experience in scripting languages such as PowerShell is desirable.
