About the Role
As Security Project Manager, you will be responsible for the end-to-end execution of Anglicare’s cyber uplift program, ensuring projects are delivered on time, within budget, and aligned with business objectives. You will oversee key cyber security initiatives, working closely with cyber security, IT, and business stakeholders to strengthen the organisation’s security posture.
This 12-month fixed term contract requires a strategic and hands-on project manager with experience in cyber security frameworks, risk mitigation, and security architecture. You will drive program execution, manage risks, engage vendors, and ensure governance and compliance, playing a pivotal role in enhancing Anglicare’s cyber resilience.
Collaborating with senior leaders, external consultants, and your team, you’ll play a critical role in shaping a high-performing, values-driven culture that supports organisational growth and success.
Key Responsibilities
Strategic Frameworks: Develop and implement cohesive frameworks to achieve strategic goals.
Cyber Uplift Program Execution: Oversee and implement initiatives in threat detection, data protection, cyber security architecture, and identity & governance administration.
Project Planning & Roadmap Management: Develop and maintain clear project roadmaps.
Risk & Compliance Management: Identify project risks and implement mitigation strategies.
Stakeholder Engagement: Work with cyber security teams, IT leadership, and business stakeholders to drive successful project outcomes.
Vendor & Partner Coordination: Manage relationships with third-party vendors and security service provider.
Budget Oversight: Ensure projects are delivered within budget.
Agility & Problem-Solving: Navigate unexpected challenges with resilience, adapting project plans to maintain success.
About You
You are an experienced cyber security project manager with a strong track record in delivering security transformation programs. Your ability to manage multiple projects, engage stakeholders, and drive execution will be critical to success in this role.
Cyber security & Project Management Expertise: Experience managing cyber security projects in areas such as threat hunting, SASE, data protection, and security architecture.
Strategic & Hands-On Approach: Ability to align project goals with business needs while ensuring smooth execution.
Stakeholder & Vendor Management: Strong ability to collaborate across IT, security teams, and external vendors.
Risk & Compliance Focus: Knowledge of security governance frameworks and risk mitigation strategies.
Agile & Adaptive Thinking: Ability to manage changing priorities in a fast-paced environment.
Qualifications & Experience
Experience in security or cyber project management.
Experience with cyber security frameworks (e.g., SASE, threat detection, data protection, Identity & Governance Administration).
Proven ability to lead cross-functional teams and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with experience making data-driven decisions.
Excellent communication skills, with the ability to engage both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
Certifications such as PMP, PRINCE2, CISSP, or CISM are highly regarded.
Experience working in agile or hybrid project environments is desirable.
