Pay is depending on experience. Minimum is $67,755.10 annually, $2,605.96 bi-weeklyThis position is based in Alaska. Relocation to Alaska is required, with the option for remote working within Alaska. Occasional travel to Anchorage is required several times a year.

About the Role:
We’re looking for a Cybersecurity Risk Analyst to help safeguard the future of our organization! In this dynamic role, you'll be at the forefront of our cybersecurity efforts, ensuring that risks are identified and mitigated, helping to keep our business safe from evolving cyber threats. You’ll work alongside a passionate team, monitor industry trends, coordinate security efforts, and contribute to disaster recovery planning. Your Mission, Should You Choose to Accept:
Cybersecurity Risk:
- Research and monitor the latest risks in the banking, mortgage, and business sectors. Stay ahead of the game and inform relevant teams of potential risks.
- Develop strategies to manage new cybersecurity threats and lead incident response drills.
- Track patch management efforts and drive the remediation process to keep systems secure and compliant.
- Implement and maintain playbooks and incident response plans for maximum protection.
Vendor Risk Management:
- Identify, evaluate, and assess risks related to third-party vendors.
- Lead due diligence efforts for new and recurring vendor relationships.
- Help select the right vendors by providing key input on potential risks.
- Keep an updated inventory of all third-party vendors and their risk levels.
- Analyze new product/venture risks and assist in setting the right risk tolerance levels.
Security Awareness & Training:
- Own the company-wide security awareness training program! Keep employees informed with the latest cybersecurity best practices.
- Conduct internal social engineering tests (email phishing, vishing) and lead the way in educating our workforce.
- Assist with internal security posture testing and validate compliance with company policies.
- Lead meetings and facilitate discussions to keep the team aligned on cybersecurity best practices.
Insurance Functions:
- Administer the company’s insurance policies, from renewals to claims.
- Work with teams to identify insurable risks and secure the necessary coverage.
- Be the go-to expert for claims, helping guide them from start to finish.
We'd Love to Hear From You If You Have:
Education:
- A Bachelor’s degree (or equivalent) in IT, Cybersecurity, Computer Science, or a related field.
Experience:
- At least 6 years of hands-on experience in cybersecurity or risk management, with a focus on the financial or banking sectors.
- Experience in continuity and contingency planning is a big plus!
Certifications:
- Industry-recognized certifications like CISM, CISSP, or CompTIA Security+? We love that! But we’re also open to equivalents based on your experience.
Skills & Know-How:
- You know your way around information technology, network operations, and Governance, Risk, and Compliance (GRC).
- Familiarity with cybersecurity frameworks like NIST, CIS, COBIT, and ISO 27001.
- Strong analytical problem-solving skills – you’re great at diagnosing complex issues and finding solutions.
- Proficiency with Microsoft 365, security tools, and vendor management software.
- Bonus points for familiarity with social engineering techniques like phishing and vishing!
