Volkswagen Group of America’s 10 – week Summer Internship Program targets undergraduate students entering their Junior or Senior years who are eager to acquire practical, real-world experience in the automotive industry. Program Information:
- 10-week Summer Internship Start Date (non-negotiable): June 2, 2025
- Program Duration: June 2, 2024 – August 8, 2025

Role Summary:
The Privacy Ops & Information Security Systems Intern will focus on document privacy portal architecture and composing business requirements. This role will be joining a fully remote team that span several functions. Through projects you will gain skills in: Business Analysis, Privacy and Security regulations, Cyber tools, GRC controls and Project management.
Role Responsibilities:
- Utilize a web-based scanning app to perform web forms scans and document results according to compliance requirements
- Assist with documenting information security policy procedures
- Assist with disaster recovery (DR) assessments
- Participate in the document privacy portal architecture
- Compose business requirements utilizing various collaboration tools
- Participate in miscellaneous InfoSec tasks
Qualifications
Qualifications:
- High School diploma/GED
- Currently pursuing a bachelor’s degree in any of the following areas of study is desired: Cybersecurity, Information Security, Data Privacy, IT Security, Computer Science, Engineering, Pre-Law, Privacy and Security, IT Business Analysis or MIS
