About this role:

Wells Fargo is seeking an Information security Analyst.


In this role, you will:

  • Participate and identify security risks companywide and ensure that appropriate data security procedures and products are implemented

  • Maintain an awareness of bank security policies and government regulations pertaining to information security

  • Review the development, testing, and implementation of security plans, products, and control techniques

  • Develop and implement security standards, procedures, and guidelines for multiple platforms and diverse systems environments

  • Investigate and recommend appropriate corrective actions for data security incidents

  • Identify regulatory changes that will affect information security policy, standards, procedures, and recommend appropriate changes

  • Provide security consulting and project management services on highly complex information security projects and issues

  • Collaborate and consult with peers, colleagues, and managers to resolve issues and achieve goals

  • Interact with internal customers

  • Receive direction from leaders and exercise independent judgment while developing the knowledge to understand function, policies, procedures, and compliance requirements


Required Qualifications:

  • 2+ years of Information Security Analysis experience, or equivalent demonstrated through one or a combination of the following: work experience, training, military experience, education.

Department Overview:

As400/Iseries Security and Access Management team, under Enterprise Access Management is primarily responsible for provisioning (create and modify) and de-provisioning (delete) both human and non-human accounts on the Iseries platform. Managing account also includes password reset, re-activation and unlocking accounts.

Our Enterprise Access Management is looking for an Information Security Analyst at Bengaluru location to provide support for Mainframe team as per business requirements. Team is responsible for create, modify and delete both human and non-human accounts. We work on AS400 and Iseries.

  • Creating, modifying and deleting human and non-human accounts on AS400/Iseries platform.

  • Creating, modifying and deleting domain logins and local logins on AS400/Iseries.

  • Password reset and unlocking accounts.

  • Understand approval process before provisioning or de-provisioning.

  • Working on time constraint high priority requests like CR and PRB tickets ServiceNow.

  • Participate in 24*7 on-Call support rotation for AS400/Iseries Security and Access management team and escalated requests.

  • Participate in Weekly meetings to discuss about our process changes and about challenges faced.

  • Bachelor’s degree in computer science, information security/system, engineering, or related field.

  • Experience with any, AS400, ISeriesPlatform.

  • Must have good understanding of AS400/Iseries systems, IBM I solutions.

  • Must have hands-on experience on AS400/Iseries systems, IBM I solutions.

  • Must have analytical and problem-solving abilities; understanding of data analysis techniques, standards and error handling concepts

  • Must have good interpersonal and strong communication skills; clear verbal and written communication skills to facilitate solutions and resolve problems

  • Must be flexible to work in shifts & be available for business meetings/team deliverables within/outside of ones shift

  • Must be self-motivated, directed, and detail-oriented

Desired Qualifications

  • Good to have basic troubleshooting skills on AS400/Iseries systems, IBM I solutions.

  • Good to have hands-on experience on Access Management/ Provisioning

  • Good to have good skills to work on Word, Excel and PowerPoint

  • Good to have knowledge on formal risk management methodology / regulatory guidelines required for financial service organizations / information security compliance/policies and ability to identify & contribute towards mitigating risks.

  • Good to have understanding on SLA, KPI and CSFs

  • Good to have knowledge on ISO / ITIL / Security+. Certification will be an added advantage

  • Good to have knowledge on escalation processes/matrix and ability to prioritize tasks

  • Ability to work independently with minimal supervision and assistance

  • Ability to collaborate effectively with different teams, accept challenging assignments and foster robust working relationships with teams.

  • Exposure to ticketing tools like ART, ServiceNow, IBM I solutions etc.

Shift timings: 1.30 PM – 10.30 PM IST.
