Job Summary:

KBR is seeking a talented intern to contribute to the development of the Program Management Portal, a centralized platform designed for program managers to manage employee-related information. The application will feature a comprehensive database that includes resumes, contract details, badge expiration dates, and security clearance statuses. You will play a key role in building a user-friendly interface, implementing contract tracking, designing advanced search functionality, and developing a notification system to keep users informed of critical dates and contract renewals. This project will empower program managers to make informed decisions about staffing, ensuring efficient resource allocation and project execution.

Key Responsibilities:

• Requirements gathering.
• System design and integration.
• Database and application development.
• Testing.
• Training and documentation.

Work Environment:

• Location: Onsite at our Beavercreek, OH location
• Travel Requirements: Minimal 0-20%; No planned travel.
• Working Hours: Up to 40 hours per week.

Qualifications:

Required:

• Security Clearance: Ability to obtain a U.S. Government Secret Security Clearance.
• Education: Enrolled in Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or a related field.
• Strong knowledge of, or experience with, web development.
• Strong knowledge of, or experience with, database fundamentals.
• Experience with programming languages (i.e., JavaScript, Python, Java).
• Problem-solving skills.
• Understanding of web application architecture.
• Interest in web application and UI design.
• Strong communication skills.
