Space Domain Awareness (SDA) Security Analyst

KBR is seeking an experienced Space Domain Awareness (SDA) Security Analyst to support Headquarters Space Operations Command (HQ SpOC) on Peterson SFB. CO. 

You will support S8ZS as a contract staff member responsible for developing, reviewing, and updating of Special Access Program (SAP) security classification guides (SCGs), as well as managing the establishment, transition, and termination of SAPs for SC capabilities.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop, review, and update Special Access Program (SAP) Security Classification Guides (SCGs) relating to current and future SAP mission systems and recommend inputs or changes to HQ SpOC/S8Z.
  • Draft SCGs shall be delivered using the Air Force Office of Special Investigation (AFOSI)/Program Security Office (PSO) SCG template.
  • Review, analyze, evaluate, and recommend updates to the SCG for each SAP system or suite of systems based on current threats and approved Critical Program Information (CPI) and provide a recommendation report.
  • Provide comments on security classification concerns relating to the SAP mission areas and PoR and recommend changes to the S8Z GPOC.
  • Develop and track the establishment, transition, and termination of SAPs and Prospective SAP (PSAP) elements IAW the program establishment and PSAP processes identified in AFI 16-701, Management, Administration, and Oversight of Special Access Programs and DoDI 5205.11, Management, Administration, and Oversight of DoD Special Access Programs.

Qualifications:

Required:

  • Active TS/SCI (SAP/SAR eligible day 1), which is something only a U.S. citizen can obtain.
  • 10+ years Security experience including 6+ years working with any military HQ Staff, that operate in support of current and future EW/OW mission areas.
  • Experience working in classified (SAP/SAR) space environment.
  • Operated or supported (i.e. electromagnetic warfare, PPBE, operations planner, EW Intelligence, management, oversight, or operations), any EW/OW systems in military, commercial/civil, or academia.
  • PPBE, operations planning experience developing/coordinating tasking orders, concept of operations, special instructions, deployment orders, execution orders, etc.
  •  Advising and supporting acquisition/integration of future electromagnetic and/or orbital warfare weapon systems, either upgrades or next generation capabilities.
  • Space Electromagnetic Warfare (SEW) and/or Orbital Warfare operations experience.

Preferred:

  • BA/BS desired

Work Environment:

  • Location: On-site
  • Travel Requirements: Minimal 0-20%
  • Working Hours: Standard

Scheduled Weekly Hours:

40hrs

Basic Compensation:

$90,000 -$100,000

This range is for Colorado only.

The offered rate will be based on the selected candidate’s knowledge, skills, abilities and/or experience and in consideration of internal parity.

Additional Compensation:

KBR may offer bonuses, commissions, or other forms of compensation to certain job titles or levels, per internal policy or contractual designation. Additional compensation may be in the form of sign on bonus, relocation benefits, short term incentives, long term incentives, or discretionary payments for exceptional performance.
