Position: Cybersecurity Engineer – Summer Trainee
Duration: 3 months 
Location: Poland, City 
Date: 1.07.2025 – 30.09.2025 (possibility to prolong) 
Education Recommendations: Cybersecurity, Computer Science or similar

In our team, you'll be part of a collaborative group of programmers and DevOps engineers developing NetGuard Cybersecurity Dome (NCYD), a powerful SaaS solution for 5G security assurance. We're building innovative features to help customers address threats faster, reduce attack impact, and lower costs. You'll work in a flexible, collaborative, and friendly agile environment with a wide range of modern technologies, providing opportunities for continuous skill development.

As part of our team, you will:

• Assist in the implementation of new features to provide new functions or improve the functionality of our security tool
• Be involved in the configuration and administration of development environments during daily work
• Have an opportunity to propose and implement automatization for our existing security solutions (e.g.  CI/CD)
• Cooperate with domain experts and architects to provide expected output/solution during daily development and maintenance activities

You have:

• Active student status 
• Good English, both spoken and written
• Ready to work full-time during the summertime
• Knowledge in one of the following programming languages: Golang, Python
• Knowledge of Unix-based systems
• Experience using Git, CI/CD (Jenkins, GitLab)
• Basic experience of using Microsoft Azure
• Some knowledge of general security topics, e.g.: firewalls, IP networks attacks, security incident management

It would be nice if you also had: 

• Experience using Docker, and/or Kubernetes
• Knowledge of Helm and/or Terraform
• Experience using messaging systems like RabbitMQ and/or Kafka
• Dependency management (gradle) experience
• Testing experience (Unit, RobotFramework)
