Job/Group Overview
The Group Head of Identity and Access Management Technology will lead and oversee the strategic transformation and operational management of all Identity Services, including Directory Services, Multi-Factor Authentication (MFA), Identity Governance and Administration (IGA), Entitlements, Privileged Access Management (PAM) and PKI Certificate Management. This is a senior leadership role requiring a strong track record in enhancing Identity platforms and a deep understanding of the overall identity technology stack within an enterprise organization. The successful candidate will also be an advocate for best practices in identity management and security, ensuring compliance and risk management standards are met.
Responsibilities
- Strategic Leadership: Implement the transformation vision and strategy for the identity and access management technology domain, aligning it with overall business objectives.
- Identity Services Management: Oversee all identity services, including Directory Services, MFA, IGA, Entitlements, PAM and PKI Certificate Management, ensuring they are integrated and functioning optimally.
- Platform Uplift: Leading efforts to uplift and enhance the multiple IGA platforms and replace with a single strategic platform, implementing enhancements and new features that improve user experience and security posture through automation and AI driven risk assessments.
- Ecosystem Architecture: Articulate and manage the entire ecosystem of the identity technology stack, ensuring all systems work seamlessly within an enterprise environment.
- Technology Expertise: Maintain a deep knowledge of identity technology trends and innovations, specifically in areas such as FIDO2, Microsoft EntraID, Intune, and MS Authenticator to move towards a passwordless state.
- Team Leadership: Build, mentor, and lead a high-performing team of identity and access management professionals. Foster a culture of collaboration, continuous improvement, and innovation working closely with CISO colleagues.
- Stakeholder Engagement: Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including IT, security, compliance, HR, and business units, to ensure identity management solutions meet organizational needs and compliance requirements.
- Risk Management: Identify and mitigate risks associated with identity and access management, ensuring adherence to security policies and regulatory requirements.
- Reporting and Metrics: Present key metrics and reports on the effectiveness of identity management systems to executive leadership and relevant stakeholders.
Experience Required
- Experience: Extensive experience in Identity and Access Management, with a proven track record of elevating IGA platforms within a large enterprise.
- Technical Knowledge: Strong understanding of identity management technologies, including Directory Services, MFA, IGA, Entitlements, PAM, and PKI Certificate Management.
- Specific Tools: Proficiency in Microsoft EntraID, Intune, and MS Authenticator is essential.
- Leadership Skills: Demonstrated ability to lead and manage teams, fostering a collaborative and innovative work environment.
- Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to articulate complex concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
- Problem-Solving: Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with a strategic mindset and attention to detail.
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Cybersecurity, or a related field; relevant certifications (e.g., CISSP, CISM, CCSP) are a plus.
