Job Description:

Job Title: IT Security Identity Analyst

FLSA: Exempt

In this role, you will utilize your business and technical knowledge to help support Information Technology (IT) teams and various business units to solve identity related challenges. By leveraging the existing tools that operate within the Identity and Access Management (IAM) and Identity Lifecycle Management (ILM) space for Hy-Vee, you will help teams by ensuring that they have accurate and timely access to perform the functions of their job. You will also be responsible for identifying and resolving various security challenges in the IAM or ILM space to reduce business risk. Hy-Vee operates with a wide range of technologies including on premise datacenters as well as cloud technologies, where foundational experience in systems administration, network administration, and cloud technologies will also be of high importance to understanding and designing solutions to problems.

Key Responsibilities

• Supports end users with access challenges (passwords, multi-factor, RBAC, etc.)
• Reviews access requests and grants permissions to individuals or teams
• Supports various IAM and ILM integration efforts conducted by the team
• Pairs with other IT partners to integrate IAM, Role Based Access Controls (RBAC), and Privileged Access Management (PAM) concepts from the project onset

Knowledge and Skills Required

• Must possess excellent verbal and written communication skills, and be proficient with discussing IAM concepts with non-technical users
• Strong knowledge and understanding of various Single Sign On (SSO) and Multi-Factor Authentication (MFA) concepts
• Strong working experience in administration and support of IAM products - Okta preferred
• Working knowledge of various user directory structures and technologies – Active Directory (AD), Lightweight Directory Access Protocol (LDAP), or Okta Universal Directory (UD) preferred
• Familiarity with PAM concepts - CyberArk Preferred
• Familiarity with Cybersecurity concepts such as least privilege and zero trust
• Experience with Agile/Scrum based project execution
• Familiarity with Atlassian Jira
• Strong understanding of the Identity Lifecycle and importance of RBAC

Experience and Education

• Experience working with end users to solve access issues
• Effective communication and collaboration skills
• Leveraging IAM tools to integrate identity into enterprise tools, products, and the Software Development Lifecycle (SDLC)
• Experience using SSO and MFA concepts: 3+ years (Preferred)

• Visual requirements include: ability to see detail at near range with or without correction.

• Must be physically able to perform sedentary work: operating a computer, occasionally lifting or carrying objects of no more than 10 pounds, and occasionally standing or walking.

• Must be able to perform the following physical activities: meeting with customers, kneeling, reaching, handling, grasping, feeling, talking, hearing, and repetitive motions.

Working Conditions

The duties for this position are performed in a general or remote office setting. There is weekly pressure to meet deadlines and handle multiple tasks in a day.
