JOB SUMMARY:

This Information Security Analyst III is an intermediate-level role on the Information Security GRC Team which is responsible for implementing, monitoring, and enhancing the organization's cyber security posture. This position ensures compliance with security policies, industry standards, and regulatory requirements while working collaboratively across teams to assess and mitigate security risks. The analyst will play a key role as the administrator of our security tools. This position provides professional level support for the Security Governance, Risk and Compliance (GRC) team. This job is responsible for the deployment, configuration, and management of the security tools in the role as the Security Tools administrator. This position is also responsible for ensuring all security tools are properly integrated and optimized for performance as well as providing technical support for the security tools you're responsible for managing. The person in this position will also be expected to develop and implement tool automation workflows to streamline ISPs program processes as well as develop processes and procedures for best practices for our security tool management. You will also be responsible for providing reporting and data analysis support on data that comes out of the tool. The incumbent will also be responsible for managing our security tools dashboards, providing training, as well as administrative and technical support for ISP managers and staff working with the tool. You will also be required to facilitate and/or attend meetings regarding our GRC tools as well as perform other duties as required.

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:  

  • Currently employed with the Florida Department of Revenue. 
  • Two years of IT networking, cyber security (GRC Tools), or similar hands-on technical experience encompassing a combination of customer support, network, and security. *
  • Experience with cyber security best practices and frameworks such as the National Institute of Standards and Technology (NIST) Cybersecurity Framework (CSF), Center for Internet Security Critical Security Controls (CIS), or similar.
  • Experience with Microsoft Office applications such as Excel, Word, and Outlook.
  • One year of experience applying the Confidentiality, Integrity, and Availability (CIA) triad concept.
  • One year of experience configuring GRC Tools and workflows.
  • One year of experience working with vendors as it relates to cyber security tools.

SUBSTITUTIONS:

  • *An Associate Degree, Bachelors Degree or higher in information technology, computer security, or closely related focus.

PREFERENCES:

  • One (1) year of experience managing security tools.
  • One (1) year experience working with vendors as it relates to cyber security tools.
  • One (1) year experience implementing, configuring, or using GRC Tools or Security Information and Event Management (SIEM) tool.
  • One (1) year experience providing reporting and data analysis support.
  • One (1) year experience in Office 365 Mail Flow/Rule Administration.
  • One (1) year of experience in a GRC security operations role.
  • Any IT certification: CISSP, COMPTIA Sec+, CEH, CCNA, or CISA.
  • Customer service experience/Project Management.

SPECIAL NOTES:

  • This position is located in Tallahassee.
  • The tentative salary for this position is $60,000.
  • This position is eligible for telework after one year of experience.

SALARY: $57,000.00 - $63,000.00.
