Role Purpose   

This role is focussed on supporting the creation and testing business continuity and operational resilience plans for the Engineering team’s core processes and procedures.

Role Responsibilities & Key Accountabilities:

  • Support the transformation centralised 1LOD Engineering GRC processes.

  • Co-ordinate and create the BIAs and BCPs across Engineering functions.

  • Assist in the identification of RTOs and RPOs for Engineering processes.

  • Assist in defining strategies to achieve desired RTOs and RPOs.

  • Coordinate and facilitate scenario-based exercises to stress-test the team’s recovery strategies confirming viability and preparedness

  • Facilitate and assist the defining and mapping of Critical Internal Services

  • Preparation of regular reporting of BCP and Resilience controls

  • Assessment of BCP and Resilience strategies

Technical / job functional knowledge    

  • Understanding and working knowledge of control frameworks based on industry best practices such as NIST, COBIT, and ISO27001.

  • Understanding of key regulatory requirements for technology and cyber security

  • Demonstrable working knowledge and understanding of a range of key technology and cyber security controls such as Backup and recovery, Change management, SDLC, Incident management, Vulnerability Management, Identity & Access Management, Authentication and Authorisation systems, Data Protection, Application Security, Secure Application Development practices, Third-Party and Cloud security.

  • Experience in performing Business Impact Analysis.

  • Experience in preparing Business Continuity Plans.

  • Experience in coordinating and facilitating tabletop exercises.

  • Experience in IT and cybersecurity policies and standards, Operational risk frameworks, Regulatory compliance

  • Technical qualification in Cyber, Information Security or IT management (desirable)

  • Cyber security qualification e.g. CISSP / CISM (desirable)
