Job Description:

General:

Spin Master is committed to safeguarding our digital infrastructure and protecting against emerging cyber threats. As a key player in our cybersecurity team, you will be instrumental in securing our networks, systems, and data, ensuring that we maintain the highest level of security across all areas of our business.

Specific Responsibilities:

• Monitor and analyze security alerts from firewalls, intrusion detection/prevention systems (IDS/IPS), and extended detection and response (XDR) platforms.
• Perform incident response, including containment, eradication, and recovery, while collaborating with senior analysts.
• Conduct vulnerability assessments and penetration tests to identify security risks, reporting findings to relevant stakeholders.
• Assist in configuring and maintaining security tools like SIEM, firewalls, and endpoint protection.
• Investigate security breaches, document findings, and recommend remediation measures.
• Support the implementation of security controls in accordance with industry regulations (e.g., GDPR, HIPAA, PCI DSS).
• Contribute to security awareness training for employees and collaborate in preparing training materials.
• Stay updated with evolving cyber threats, and propose proactive security improvements.
• Perform ad-hoc tasks as assigned.

Required Qualifications & Skill Set:

• Degree in Computer Science Engineering or equivalent.
• At least 3 years relevant working experience in providing cyber security consultancy and IT security risk assessment services to MNC
• Strong understanding of cybersecurity principles (Zero Trust, IDS/IPS, XDR, threat intelligence).
• Proficient in networking (TCP/IP, routing, switching, network security protocols).
• Hands-on experience with security technologies like firewalls, VPNs, SIEM, and endpoint security.
• Strong analytical skills for investigating security incidents and identifying root causes.
• Excellent problem-solving abilities and communication skills to relay technical findings to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
• Familiarity with vulnerability assessment tools and ethical hacking methodologies.
• Experience with compliance standards (e.g., GDPR, HIPAA) and the ability to ensure regulatory adherence.
• Experience with ticketing systems (e.g., ServiceNow) for managing incidents and documenting security events.
