Purpose Intro
DB Global Technology is Deutsche Bank’s technology centre in Central and Eastern Europe. Since its set-up in 2013, Bucharest Technology Centre (BEX) has constantly proven its capacity to deliver global technology products and services, playing a dynamic role in the Bank’s technology transformation.

Role Intro
The Security Architecture Division provides overall direction and guidance in the definition of DB’s current and future state enterprise security architectures, including developing strategies, roadmaps, principles, blueprints, and best practices to promote the design and implementation of state-of-the-art cyber capabilities.
You will be the Information Security Expert in the realm of Data Privacy and Security Architecture working with other architects and stakeholders to strategically develop the maturity of the domain and to strengthen the protection of DB’s businesses and its client’s trust.
In this capacity you will in addition be the delegate of Data Security Domain Architect as well as the Privacy Action Owner (PAO) Delegate. The focus of the role is to ensure highly professional and productive procedures, policies and processes are in place, and aligned and agreed with relevant stakeholders.
Responsibilities
Identifying and evaluating potential areas of Information Security threat by assessing the probability and impact, and implementing associated mitigations
Monitoring and contributing to the implementation of the Information Security strategy
Evaluating the adequacy and effectiveness of internal controls relating to Information Security risks
Ensuring appropriate procedures, policies and processes are in place, and aligned and agreed with relevant stakeholders
Developing appropriate, pragmatic strategies to deliver effective controls and Information Security management objectives and implementation across the bank
Managing client relationships and ensuring management focus on the Information Security agenda
Skills
Bachelor's degree, preferably in a computer science/engineering, information technology or other related field plus multi-year experience; and/or equivalent combination of education and experience
Professional / industry recognized certifications (e.g. IAPP, CISM, CISSP) preferred
Grade or experience in either the Information Security and/or Data Privacy area
Focus on Data Protection and Data Security would be beneficial
Solid exposure and experience in cyber security disciplines for multiple years
Strong knowledge of cyber capabilities specifically as is relate to Data Security and Privacy– including support of designing and deploying security solutions
Experience in global and diverse teams across different time zones and within a matrix environment
Demonstrated ability to lead projects and initiatives independently
Strong communication skills and advanced English in written and speaking.
