About the role
Join Partner Solutions (PSI) team as a Security Analyst, Data Protection. Your role will be to preserve the integrity and confidentiality of the company's data and that of our customers, by implementing the appropriate protection strategies and tools.
What you'll do here:
Participate in the implementation of an organization-wide data protection program, including the creation of policies, procedures, and technical controls.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify data assets requiring protection and determine appropriate data protection measures.
Participate in the evaluation and selection of Data Loss Prevention (DLP) technologies and tools to support the program and oversee their implementation and configuration.
Actively participate in the implementation of the data retention program under the supervision of the organization.
Monitor and analyze incidents and DLP alerts to identify potential security threats or breaches and take appropriate action to prevent data loss.
Participate in security incident response activities, including investigations and remediation efforts.
Promote best practices and raise information security awareness.
What you bring to the table:
Bachelor's degree in computer science or equivalent combination of education and experience.
Minimum 1 to 3 years of experience in information security.
Experience with data loss prevention technologies and tools.
Proven analytical and problem-solving skills.
Excellent spoken and written communication skills.
Positive attitude, team spirit and willingness to learn.
Critical thinking skills.
Demonstrated commitment to training, self-study and maintaining technical cybersecurity skills.
Experience with the implementation and knowledge of GRC/TPRM platforms will be considered an asset.
Bilingualism (French / English) – Need to interact on a regular basis with English-speaking colleagues across the country.
No Canadian work experience required however must be eligible to work in Canada.
