How to contribute to our vision
Our Industrial Cybersecurity department is seeking a student worker to assist with cybersecurity tasks. You will be working in a small but international and inclusive team. This position involves supporting the operation and improvement of the vulnerability management process for Siemens Gamesa products and solutions. The goal is to safeguard critical power infrastructure through efficient vulnerability management.
Core responsibilities:
Assist with vulnerability management by maintaining the task backlog through cleaning up tickets and ensuring accurate documentation.
Automate workflows to streamline processes and improve efficiency within the team.
Assist product teams in resolving vulnerabilities and applying security measures.
Monitor and track the progress of vulnerability remediation efforts.
Support vulnerability reporting.
What You Need to Make a Difference
Enthusiasm for securing renewable energy and a sense of the importance of leading the change are essential. We are looking for individuals who want to make a tangible difference and contribute to the transition to renewable energy, changing the world for the better.
The ideal candidate is/has:
You are studying for your bachelor's or master's degree at a university in Denmark.
You possess excellent verbal and written English skills. Danish language would be an advantage.
Strong interest in cybersecurity - We're on the lookout for someone with a strong passion for cybersecurity and a proactive attitude to handle challenges head-on.
Basic understanding of vulnerability management discipline - We are seeking a candidate that understands monitoring, assessing, tracking and communicating on vulnerabilities.
Automation Experience: We are seeking an individual capable of automating vulnerability management processes through scripting, utilizing Python or comparable programming languages.
Stakeholder Management: Clear communication for engaging with stakeholders.
Prioritization and Time Management: Effective multitasking and prioritization based on business needs.
Most importantly, you challenge yourself and your colleagues to achieve the best results. You have a high professional competency, and you have a desire to develop your skills. You have good collaboration skills, and you can manage to act in different cultural contexts. To thrive in this position, you must have a strong result- and customer-oriented approach.
