What you'll do:
As a Senior Software SDET engineer, we are looking for an individual contributor, who will play a crucial role in improving the quality of Walmart EBS by working with stakeholders across the board – product / business / engineering. The role demands to lead, motivate, mentor and provide ample guidance to the other team members with respect to technical challenges.
Your Responsibility shall include:
· Constant focus on velocity, continuous improvement, engineering, and operational excellence
· Interact with other Walmart engineering teams across geographies to drive shift left of quality and contribute to the quality best practices.
· Create a quality first mindset, design, develop & maintain end to end test automation
· Cross-collaborate with the inter-disciplinary program, product and engineering teams to deliver the initiatives.
· Establish best engineering practices and operation excellence backed up with product, engineering and scrum metrics
· Lead and mentor the team members in developing and designing system design and architecture.
· Partner with Product and business teams to understand what we need to promise and deliver to customers
· Work with other technical leaders to ensure our coding and development processes are scaling and evolving with modern development practices
· Measuring and improving performance and making the systems more robust
· Help teams troubleshoot and find ways to move faster and raise the quality bar
· The candidate is expected to contribute in a hands-on fashion on the project as well as take ownership of various QA deliverables.
What you'll bring:
· Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related technical field.
· 5-9 years of hands on experience working on Quality Engineering field
· Expert knowledge in test automation tools like Selenium, Cucumber BDD framework, REST Assured API, testNG
· Proficient in programming language like Java and JavaScript.
· Experience in developing automation framework for API / UI / Mobile applications.
· Experience with defect management tools like JIRA, confluence etc.,
· Support continuous integration / deployment process improvement and innovation.
Additional Qualifications:
· Experience with Workbrain or Workforce Management Domain
· Strong desire to drive change, and ability to adapt to change quickly. Proficient in new and emerging technologies.
· Focus on reusability, frameworks, patterns and configurations tools for faster test automation development.
