Cybersecurity Engineer, Web Applications (remote)

Job Description:

Working as part of a small cross-functional team, this individual will participate in development and support the team's effort to maintain a secure web presence. Individual will be responsible for managing web security applications to monitor and mitigate attacks on web facing applications.

Operational: Ensure internal and external data security, adhering to best practices and compliance standards.

Implement observability across platforms for application monitoring and alerting.

Deploy threat detection and mitigation techniques to ensure data/application security.

Work with auditors to ensure security compliance.

Essential Qualifications

Functional comprehension of web application architecture.

Understanding of PCI Security requirements.

Excellent communication and collaboration skills.

Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

A combination of relevant work experience and education that would equal 1-3 years of relevant work experience with a record of accomplishment.
