Job Summary
Keyrus is looking for a Senior Cybersecurity Consultant. The ideal candidate embodies technical prowess in IT cybersecurity policy development, process design, and compliance with industry standards, coupled with a fervent commitment to making every piece of data matter. We value individuals who are detail-oriented, independent contributors with exceptional communication and problem-solving skills, ensuring that together, we continue to transform possibilities into reality.
This position is fully remote (based in the EU).

Key Responsibilities
- Develop detailed IT cybersecurity policies and standards adhering to a predefined framework.
- Translate complex technical cybersecurity concepts into clear and concise documentation.
- Ensure policies and standards align with organizational requirements and industry best practices.
- Collaborate with stakeholders to gather necessary information and ensure alignment with business objectives.
- Design and implement cybersecurity processes and procedures to support IT standards.
- Document and refine existing IT procedures as needed.
- Secure approval for policies, standards, and processes through socialization with key stakeholders.
- Support communication and training efforts to ensure adoption of new policies and processes.
Requirements for the role
- Proven hands-on experience in cybersecurity environments and similar engagements.
- Expertise in cybersecurity policy development, process design, and industry frameworks (NIST CSF, ISO 27000, IEC 62443, CyFun).
- Familiarity with the NIS2 directive and its requirements.
- Strong technical writing and editing skills in English.
- Experience leading IT security procedures and best practices.
- Ability to manage time effectively and meet tight deadlines.
- Strong communication skills, proactivity, autonomy, and a sense of ownership.
- Fluent in English
- Must be a Portuguese or European citizen or have a work permit for Portugal
