Position Overview:
We are seeking a highly skilled Cybersecurity/Information Assurance Software Administrator to design, implement, and maintain security infrastructure across our organization. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in security architecture, risk assessment, and compliance, ensuring the confidentiality, integrity, and availability of critical systems. This role requires expertise in security software administration, network defense, and the latest cybersecurity technologies. This position requires an active Secret clearance or higher.

Responsibilities:

  • Security Infrastructure Design & Implementation:
  • Develop and implement security frameworks, policies, and procedures to protect information assets.
  • Design and configure security software, including firewalls, intrusion detection/prevention systems (IDS/IPS), SIEM solutions, and endpoint protection.
  • Ensure secure integration of applications and systems in alignment with industry best practices.
  • Software Administration & Maintenance:
  • Manage and maintain cybersecurity tools such as antivirus, vulnerability management, data loss prevention (DLP), and identity & access management (IAM) solutions.
  • Perform updates, patches, and configurations to enhance security posture and minimize vulnerabilities.
  • Automate security processes where applicable to improve efficiency and effectiveness.
  • Risk Assessment & Compliance:
  • Conduct security risk assessments and penetration testing to identify vulnerabilities.
  • Ensure compliance with relevant regulations and standards (e.g., NIST, ISO 27001, CIS Controls, CMMC, HIPAA, GDPR).
  • Assist with audits, security documentation, and certification processes.
  • Incident Response & Monitoring:
  • Monitor security events using SIEM tools and respond to cybersecurity incidents.
  • Investigate and mitigate security breaches, working closely with IT and security teams.
  • Develop and test incident response plans and security playbooks.
  • Collaboration & Training:
  • Work with IT teams to integrate security solutions into the organization's infrastructure.
  • Train employees on security best practices and awareness programs.
  • Stay updated on emerging threats and security technologies to enhance organizational defenses.
