Information Security Analyst

Job Description:

Essential Job Functions:

• Assist in the development, implementation, and maintenance of IAM solutions and systems.
• Support the deployment of identity verification methods, including multi-factor authentication.
• Help manage user provisioning and access management processes.
• Monitor and analyze access logs and security events to detect and respond to suspicious activities.
• Collaborate with system administrators, developers, and security teams to integrate IAM solutions.
• Troubleshoot and resolve basic IAM-related issues.
• Stay up-to-date on current IAM threats and industry solutions.
• Support security awareness training initiatives.
• Display a strong desire to learn and grow in the security field.

Basic Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in a relevant field or equivalent combination of education and experience
• Basic understanding of access control models, authentication protocols, and authorization mechanisms.
• Familiarity with Microsoft Active Directory and related technologies.
• Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Relevant certifications such as Microsoft Certified: Identity and Access Administrator Associate are a plus.

Other Qualifications:

• Familiar with Windows Active Directory and Group Policy Objects (GPOs).
• Familiarity with basic programming and scripting languages such as PowerShell or Python.
• Strong communication and teamwork skills.
• Willingness to learn and adapt to new technologies and best practices.
