Position Overview

The Threat Intelligence Senior Analyst is responsible for collecting, analyzing, and disseminating cyber threat intelligence to enhance the organization's security posture. This role involves monitoring a variety of sources to identify potential threats and providing actionable intelligence to stakeholders.

What You’ll Do

  • Collect and analyze threat intelligence data from diverse sources, including open-source, commercial feeds, governmental data, and the deep and dark web.

  • Monitor cyber threat activities and trends to identify potential risks to the organization.

  • Disseminate threat intelligence to security stakeholders by providing reports, and alerts to the security team, business leaders, and risk managers.

  • Collaborate with cybersecurity teams to integrate threat intelligence into security tools and processes.

  • Assist in developing and refining threat intelligence strategies and methodologies and perform work with a view toward improving overall security posture

  • Communicate threat intelligence in a clear and concise manner that is understandable to various audiences.

  • Collaborate with other teams in a positive manner and proactively look for opportunities to assist other teams.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree and 3-5 years of threat intelligence experience

  • Experience in leveraging the MITRE ATT&CK framework to map adversary tactics, techniques, and procedures (TTPs) for effective threat modeling and detection strategies.

  • Ability to manage the complete threat intelligence lifecycle, from planning and data collection to analysis, dissemination, and feedback.

  • Proficient in using OSINT tools and methodologies to gather, analyze, and contextualize threat data from publicly available sources.

  • Background in malware analysis, including both static and dynamic analysis techniques, to reverse-engineer malicious code and understand its behavior.

Compensation

The estimated salary range for this role is $80,000.00 - $95,000.00, along with eligibility to earn an annual bonus. Actual salaries may vary based on several factors, such as a candidate’s qualifications, skills and experience.
