Job Summary:

KBR is looking for highly motivated rising Juniors, Seniors and Graduate students seeking business, engineering, and software development opportunities that provide challenging and meaningful work experience to be a part of our 2025 Intern class.   

Key Responsibilities:

  • Requirements gathering.

  • System design and integration.

  • Database and application development.

  • Testing.

  • Training and documentation.

Work Environment:

  • Location: Onsite at our Beavercreek, OH location

  • Travel Requirements: Minimal 0-20%; No planned travel.

  • Working Hours: Up to 40 hours per week.

Qualifications:

Required:

  • Security Clearance: Ability to obtain a U.S. Government Secret Security Clearance.

  • Education: Enrolled in Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or a related field.

  • Ability to write engineering software scripts in a variety of languages for both problem solving and visualization.

  • Ability to conduct EO payload analysis and simulate EO performance.

  • Ability to understand image formation processing and analyze the iteration between payload designs and image formation processing algorithms. 

  • Experience with remote sensing, to include an understanding of sensor payloads. 

  • Ability to design engineering experiments for the purpose of understanding system design impacts or identifying optimal parameter settings.

Desired:

  • Tools / Languages would be Matlab, Python, C++, etc. 

  • Experience and knowledge in Data analysis and imaging science applications.

  • Skills / knowledge would include statistics, linear algebra, matrix algebra, and programming skills.

  • Major field of study: Image Science, Optical Engineering, Electrical Engineering (EO/SAR).
