Leidos is searching for a highly motivated Cyber Security Architect to support our federal government customer’s goal in developing and executing a post-quantum cryptography roadmap. The Architect will be the primary and most-senior technical resource on the program and will be responsible for leading an integrated solution approach for surveillance and remediation of operational environments. The Cyber Security Architect must have a background in securing government systems throughout various stages of their zero trust and post-quantum cryptography journey.
Primary Responsibilities:
Collaborate with government Solution Architect and senior technical customers on the development of a Post-Quantum Cryptography (PQCR) roadmap.
Develop and implement best practices around post-quantum computing
Plan for the effective delivery, monitoring, remediation and management of security boundaries and controls, ensuring the customer’s infrastructure and cyber posture remains strong
Provide a recommended approach for Cyber organizational change management
Design, implement and manage encryption, network security, threat detection and response.
Ensure solutions meet performance, security, compliance standards, and industry best practices.
Provide technical expertise and guidance to government stakeholders to address cybersecurity challenges and align solutions with mission goals.
Manage and identify technical risks and opportunities, resolution and verification of effectiveness of corrective actions.
Support technical proposal response as needed.
Engage and build relationships with senior government cyber stakeholders.

Basic Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in Cybersecurity, Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field
Relevant certifications such as CISSP or GIAC Security Expert (GSE)
Ability to obtain a Public Trust Clearance
12+ years of experience in cybersecurity architecture, with proven expertise in designing secure systems for complex environments
Experience with Cybersecurity tools focused on protecting data and functional assets (i.e. Tenable, ServiceNow Discovery)
Thorough knowledge of DoD security policies and frameworks, including NIST 800-53 and DISA STIGs
Extensive knowledge of security, compliance, and governance
Security Operations Center experience
Preferred Qualifications:
Master’s degree in Cybersecurity, Information Technology, Computer Science
Experience with Quantum Cryptography
Experience in Network Management

Pay Range:
Pay Range $126,100.00 - $227,950.00The Leidos pay range for this job level is a general guideline only and not a guarantee of compensation or salary.
