Director, Enterprise Security

We have an opportunity for a Director, Enterprise Security to join our strategic leadership for the entire enterprise security function and serving as a key advisor to the C-suite and Board on security matters across Security Operations, Infrastructure Security, and Vulnerability Management.

Location: You will be based in our Toronto office and will work in a Hybrid model.

Reporting Relationship: You will report to Vice President, Information Security.

Your Moneris Career - What you'll do

- Define and execute the enterprise security vision and strategy, aligning with overall business objectives and industry-leading frameworks

- Lead the transformation of security operations, leveraging AI, ML, and advanced analytics from next-generation platforms

- Drive the implementation of next-generation infrastructure and application security architectures, including zero trust, SASE, and cloud-native security models

- Oversee the development of a world-class vulnerability management and cyber risk reduction program, utilizing advanced risk-based approaches

- Lead the integration of threat intelligence and proactive defense strategies across the organization, leveraging cutting-edge threat intelligence platforms

- Develop and present comprehensive enterprise security reports to the senior leadership

- Collaborate with other C-level executives to drive security as a business enabler

- Represent Moneris at industry forums and regulatory discussions

- Lead organizational response to critical security incidents and cyber crises

- Develop and implement strategies to position the Moneris as a leader in cybersecurity

Your Moneris Career - What you bring

- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Security, or related field; MBA or other advanced degree

- 15 years of experience in information security; with 7-10 years in executive leadership roles

- Visionary understanding of cybersecurity trends and their impact on business

- Proven track record of leading enterprise-wide security transformations

- Exceptional strategic thinking and ability to drive organizational change

- Outstanding communication and influencing skills at the board and C-suite leve

- Relevant executive-level certifications such as CISSP, CISM, or GIAC Security Leadership (GSLC) are preferred
