What you will do:

We are looking for a Technology Engineer with experience in smart buildings and places, digital transformation across a diverse range of projects across the APAC region, for construction, fit-outs, retrofits, and mixed-use developments. The candidate will provide advisory consultancy services, incorporating innovative solutions within the built environment. This role involves close collaboration with various stakeholders to ensure optimal experiences and technologies are implemented.

How you will do it:

  • Ensure complete, coordinated, and timely production of technology design documentation in line with project milestones, including tender and construction documents.

  • Facilitate or participate in a collaborative environment including workshopping, interviews etc. using standardised approaches, and align these with customer and user requirements utilising global benchmarks and digital maturity models where applicable.

  • Collaborate and coordinate with engineering and design consultants, stakeholders, subcontractors, suppliers, and the greater project team.

  • Lead interfacing activities across multiple packages to realise the expected technology vision and outcomes for the project.

  • Provide quantitative and qualitative analysis, including spatial planning, service coordination, budgets, ROI, and risk assessments for each initiative.

What we look for:

  • 5+ years of experience as an ICT or Technology Engineering Consultant, Solutions Architect, or Digital Business Analyst within the construction industry.

  • Experience delivering design and advisory services for smart places, ICT, and Engineering Consultancy Services or Solution Architecture across technology systems (IT, OT, IoT).

  • Ability to work with and inspire stakeholders at all levels, including clients, users, contractors, and authorities.

  • Experience facilitating interviews, meetings, and workshops to determine project objectives and outcomes.

  • Ability to prioritize multiple projects and manage competing stakeholder requests.

  • Can utilise customer-centric approach to problem-solving within frameworks such as Design Led Thinking, Human-Centered Design, and Systems Engineering.

  • Experience managing and aligning integration design across interfacing trade systems and devices.

  • Ability to communicate complex ideas simply and understandably to all project levels.

  • Strong interpersonal skills (written and verbal) and skilled in facilitating working sessions.

  • Proven track record in leading/ delivering IT, OT, IoT, ELV and/or digital technology projects, within the built environment.

  • Extensive experience delivering in a variety of projects such as commercial precincts, offices, datacentres, healthcare, retail, and other relevant sectors.

  • Ability to develop design drawings, up to IFC, within a Revit (BIM) environment.

  • History of full design of Technology systems such as IT and/or OT Cybersecurity, Integrated Communications Networks, Wi-Fi, Cellular IBC DAS and RF systems, IoT, Integrated Services Platforms, Analytics and other digital solutions, analytics, BMS/BMCS, Security/CCTV and EMS. QUALIFICATIONS

  • Degree qualified in Engineering, IT, or related fields.

  •  Preferred certifications: TOGAF, Zachman, CISSP, CSSP, Cloud Technologies, CCNA/CCNP/CCIE, BICSI RCDD, INCOSE CSEP.

  • Excellent English written and oral communication skills.
