Northrop Grumman is currently seeking an Industrial Security Analyst - Level 2, to join our Payload & Ground Systems team in Linthicum, MD. This position is 100% onsite and cannot accommodate telecommute work. Join the Space revolution and make the impossible, possible. #definingpossible

This position will support multiple programs and will have a dual role in supporting both Physical Security and Security Operations job functions as they relate to all applicable classified federal, contractual, customer and company requirements and will report to the PGSD Physical Security Manager.

In this job, you will:

Physical Security – Badge System:

  • Maintaining The Photo Badge and Access Control Systems Hardware/Software in conjunction with IT support
  • Scheduling Photo Badge Appointments with employees, contractors and visitor
  • Administering Program Photo identification badges for employees, contractors and visitors
  • Provide Personnel Access to Program Areas via the Badge Access Control System
  • Maintaining Badge Stock Supplies and Inventory
  • Video Surveillance Systems oversight,  set-up, and support for PGSD Facilities
  • Other duties as assigned

Security Operations:

  • Support Security Staff in continuous efforts to ensure compliance with established company, government and customer regulations, policies and procedures
  • Provide assistance with briefings and meetings
  • Preparation and participation for government and self-inspections
  • Support additional CPSO related functions and processes when necessary
  • Other duties as assigned

Basic Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree with 2+ years of professional experience – OR – Master’s degree
  • Will consider an additional 4+ years of experience in lieu of degree
  • Ability to meet enhanced security requirements and obtain/maintain SCI eligibility and access
  • Working knowledge of, ICD 705, ICD 705 Tech Spec with regards to SCIF Construction, ICD 704, and/or NISPOM applicable sponsor procedures
  • Experience utilizing DISS and/or SIMS
  • Requires an active U.S. Government DoD Top-Secret security clearance at time of application, current and within scope

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Current SCI Access with CI Polygraph
  • Prior program security (Collateral, SAP or SCI) experience
  • Strong working knowledge of basic office automation tool suites such as MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
  • OPSEC program experience

Salary Range: $70,600.00 - $105,800.00

The above salary range represents a general guideline; however, Northrop Grumman considers a number of factors when determining base salary offers such as the scope and responsibilities of the position and the candidate's experience, education, skills and current market conditions.

Depending on the position, employees may be eligible for overtime, shift differential, and a discretionary bonus in addition to base pay. Annual bonuses are designed to reward individual contributions as well as allow employees to share in company results. Employees in Vice President or Director positions may be eligible for Long Term Incentives. In addition, Northrop Grumman provides a variety of benefits including health insurance coverage, life and disability insurance, savings plan, Company paid holidays and paid time off (PTO) for vacation and/or personal business.
