Job Summary

We are seeking a Semi-Senior Security Engineer with expertise in endpoint security and cloud infrastructure security. This role will be responsible for designing and implementing secure architectures, managing enterprise security solutions, automating security tasks, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to mitigate risks. The ideal candidate has hands-on experience with security tools, automation, and scripting, along with strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

Responsibilities

  • Security Architecture & Design:

    • Assist in designing and implementing secure architectures for on-premise and cloud systems.

    • Identify security vulnerabilities across Windows, macOS, Linux, and cloud platforms like AWS, GCP, and OCI.

    • Contribute to developing and maintaining security policies, documentation, and best practices.

  • System Security Management:

    • Deploy, configure, and manage enterprise security tools, including endpoint security solutions.

    • Support security assessments and vulnerability scanning.

    • Ensure timely patching and updates to mitigate security threats.

    • Assist in incident response efforts, including threat containment and forensic analysis.

  • Automation & Scripting:

    • Develop and enhance security automation scripts using Python and Bash.

    • Automate security monitoring and vulnerability detection tasks.

    • Improve efficiency in security management through automation.

  • Collaboration & Communication:

    • Work closely with IT, Security, and Infrastructure teams to implement security initiatives.

    • Communicate security risks, solutions, and best practices effectively to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.

    • Stay updated with emerging security threats, vulnerabilities, and technologies.

Qualifications and Job Requirements

  • To be based in São Paulo, Brazil, with a willingness to work on-site three days per week.

  • Strong written and verbal communication skills in English are required.

  • 3 to 5 years of experience in security engineering, system security management, or endpoint security.

  • Hands-on experience deploying, configuring, and managing security solutions (e.g., CrowdStrike, SentinelOne).

  • Strong understanding of endpoint and cloud security best practices.

  • Experience in conducting vulnerability assessments and security audits.

  • Proficiency in Python and Bash scripting for automation.

  • Strong troubleshooting and analytical skills.

  • Ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams and communicate security risks effectively.
