Job Summary

We are seeking a Junior Security Engineer with expertise in endpoint security and cloud infrastructure security. This role will be responsible for designing and implementing secure architectures, managing enterprise security solutions, automating security tasks, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to mitigate risks. The ideal candidate has hands-on experience with security tools, automation, and scripting, along with strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

Responsibilities

  • Security Architecture & Design:

    • Assist in implementing secure architectures for on-premise and cloud environments.

    • Help identify security vulnerabilities in Windows, macOS, Linux, and cloud platforms like AWS, GCP, and OCI.

    • Support documentation and development of security policies and best practices.

  • System Security Management:

    • Assist in deploying and configuring security tools such as CrowdStrike and SentinelOne.

    • Support teams with security assessments and vulnerability scans.

    • Monitor and help ensure timely patching and updates to mitigate vulnerabilities.

    • Provide basic support for security incident response and troubleshooting.

  • Automation & Scripting:

    • Learn and assist in writing automation scripts using Python and Bash.

    • Support the automation of security tasks and system monitoring.

  • Collaboration & Communication:

    • Work with IT and Security teams to improve security posture.

    • Document and report security risks and remediation efforts.

    • Stay informed on security threats, tools, and industry best practices.

Qualifications and Job Requirements

  • To be based in São Paulo, Brazil, with a willingness to work on-site three days per week.

  • Strong written and verbal communication skills in English are required.

  • 1 to 3 years of experience in IT security, system administration, or endpoint management.

  • Basic experience with security solutions (e.g., CrowdStrike, SentinelOne, or similar tools).

  • Understanding of security best practices for endpoint and cloud security.

  • Exposure to Python and Bash scripting (willingness to learn and improve).

  • Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.

  • Eagerness to learn and work collaboratively with cross-functional teams.
