Your Career
The Network Security ("NetSec") business is one of the major vectors of growth for Palo Alto Networks. In this individual contributor role with our NetSec Go-To-Market (GTM) Programs & Operations team, you will build and drive GTM programs that accelerate our growth and streamline our GTM operations.
We're looking for a professional who thrives in a fast and collaborative environment, and brings a proven track record of strategic thinking and successful execution. Someone who knows how to design and execute programs at scale - able to run data analysis, set the strategy, and implement the programs. Someone who can identify an operational problem, dive into the data to quantify it and find the root cause, and propose a solution.
You will work on a broad set of initiatives ranging from creating and driving new GTM programs (identifying the market opportunity, proposing the new program, executing on it), streamlining GTM operations (identifying inefficiencies, using analytics and process improvements to increase our operational efficiency), and collaborating with our cross-functional stakeholders.
Your Impact
- Design, execute, and report on GTM programs for our NetSec business, in collaboration with our Product, Sales and Marketing teams (e.g. programs for acquisition/ migration/ cross sell/ upsell)
- Problem-solve operational issues and use analytics and process improvements to increase the operational efficiency of our GTM and Sales teams
- Ensure on-time delivery of initiatives, program reporting, and projects with high quality and clear communication
- Structure and package analyses, strategies, and recommendations into highly effective, compelling communication and presentations to various audiences, including senior executives
- Be a source of technical expertise on the products in our NetSec portfolio, with the ability to engage and drive in customer discussions
- Build strong relationships across the sales organization to drive initiatives, and receive continuous feedback from key stakeholders
Qualifications
Your Experience
- 4+ years of experience across Go-To-Market, Sales, Sales/Marketing Strategy, Sales Operations and/or Business Operations (with an additional preference for 2+ years within top management consulting, private equity and/or top-tier tech companies)
- Excellent skills in data analytics and building quantitative models in spreadsheets, with a willingness to learn the specific data systems we use (Salesforce, Tableau, GCP Big Query, etc.)
- Excellent ability in packaging analyses and strategies into concise and compelling slide presentations for various audiences, including senior executives
- Track record of driving successful cross-functional initiatives from design to execution, with excellent people skills
- GTM programs experience preferred (ex: acquisition / migration / cross-sell / upsell)
- Headquarters location (San Francisco Bay Area) is preferred, but remote work from within the USA is possible
Additional Information
The Team
Our GTM team members work hand in hand with large organizations around the world to keep their digital environments protected. We educate, inspire, and empower our potential clients in their journey to security. You are empowered with unmatched systems and tools, constantly updated research and sales libraries, and a team built on joint success. You won’t find someone at Palo Alto Networks who isn’t committed to your success — everyone pitches in to assist when it comes to solutions selling, learning, and development.
