The Cyber Operations Specialist is a detail-oriented Disaster Recovery and Business Continuity Coordinator within the Cyber Resilience Program. The role is responsible for providing overall governance and reporting on the status of the Corporate Cyber Security (CCS) DR and Business Continuity Plans.This role will be responsible for monitoring the compliance of CCS DR Plans, coordinating with plan owners to ensure they are complete and compliant with internal requirements, and escalate compliance issues. The ideal candidate will have experience in disaster recovery planning, IT infrastructure, business continuity, and an understanding of cyber security concepts.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities

Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure aligned DR plans are updated, accurate, and comprehensive.
Identify critical systems, applications, and data for inclusion in disaster recovery plans and ensure they are backed up and regularly tested.
Ensure aligned DR plans are consistently reviewed and improved based on lessons learned from tests, real incidents, and industry best practices.
Develop and maintain reports to track disaster recovery progress, including testing results, recovery performance, and compliance with internal and external standards.
Assist with audits and assessments related to aligned disaster recovery plans, ensuring all necessary documentation is available for compliance reviews.
Required Qualifications:

Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Cybersecurity, or related field of relevant education, certification, or related training.
Two years of experience in Cybersecurity or related work.
Knowledge of cloud fundamentals.
Knowledge of general information technology (IT) and cybersecurity.
Knowledge of computer networking concepts and protocols, and network security methodologies.
Knowledge of network traffic analysis and packet-level analysis using appropriate tools (e.g., Wireshark, tcpdump).
Knowledge of operating systems, including Windows/Unix ports and services.
Knowledge of basic identity and access management concepts.
Knowledge of phishing tactics and techniques.
Knowledge of cyber threats and vulnerabilities.
Knowledge of cyber-attack stages (e.g., reconnaissance, scanning, enumeration, gaining access, escalation of privileges, maintaining access, network exploitation, covering tracks).
Knowledge of incident response and handling methodologies.
Knowledge of countermeasures to address a variety of threats.
Knowledge of basic automation, ML, and/or AI possibilities.
Preferred Qualifications:
Certifications in Disaster Recovery, Business Continuity (e.g., CBCP, MBCP, DRII, etc.) are highly desirable. Industry certifications in general technology (e.g. Network+, AWS Certified Cloud Practitioner, Microsoft Azure Fundamentals, etc.)
Experience with cloud disaster recovery solutions (e.g., AWS, Azure, Google Cloud).
Knowledge of IT infrastructure, including servers, databases, and networking systems
Experience in cybersecurity operations, related functions and controls.
