Job Description

Position Overview

The Administrator, Information & Cyber Security will assist in protecting Invenergy information assets from all threats. The position will have responsibility installing, administering, and troubleshooting Invenergy's security solutions. The Administrator will ensure the network's security, protect against unauthorized access, modification, or destruction, and troubleshoot any access problems.

Responsibilities

• Install security measures and operate software 

• Upgrade systems to enable security software 

• Install and maintain endpoint protection software 

• Test and evaluate modern technology 

• Perform vulnerability assessment scans 

• Analyze IT requirements and provide objective advice on the use of IT security requirements 

• Gather feedback from end users to continue to improve systems 

• Design, analyze and implement efficient IT security systems 

• Perform access administration for privileged systems

Required Skills

• Bachelor's degree in computer science or a related area 

• 4+ years' experience in administering information security systems within a Microsoft Windows environment

• Direct networking and IT security experience

Preferred Skills

• Experience with NERC (North American Electric Reliability Corporation) CIP (Critical Infrastructure Protection) 

• Professional security certification preferred, such as CISSP, CISA, or GIAC programs 

• Familiarity with security tools (SIEM, AV, firewalls, scanners, etc.)

• Experience with privileged access management (PAM)

Salary Range

$109,250 - $120,750
