Associate Cybersecurity Incident Response Specialist

The Boeing Company is currently seeking an Associate Cybersecurity Incident Response Specialist to join the team in Mesa, AZ or Hazelwood, MO.

Position Responsibilities:

  • Performs incident response activities across broad technology profiles or multiple systems

  • Interrogates industry sources and evaluates incident indicators

  • Determines nature, mechanisms, scope and location of the incident

  • Collects and preserves evidence, identifies intrusion or incident path and method

  • Performs event correlation and malware analysis

  • Isolates, blocks or removes threat access

Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience):

  • 1+ years of experience with network security specifically related to malware analysis, monitoring, and log event correlation

  • 1+ years of experience with cybersecurity, information protection and/or risk management

  • 1+ years of experience in analytical and report writing in processing, organizing, analyzing and assisting in contextualization of incident indicators

Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience):

  • Security certifications in Cloud/Network/Forensics

  • Experience in a Cybersecurity Operations Center

  • Experience with monitoring, incident response, or digital forensics

  • Experience monitoring cloud platforms such as Google Cloud Platform (GCP), Microsoft Azure, and/or Amazon Web Services (AWS)

Summary pay range: $78,200 – $105,800
