Job Title: Security Manager

Summary

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Security Manager with a strong focus on Governance, Risk, and Compliance (GRC) to join our growing team with the broad understanding of cyber domains. The ideal candidate will be a hands-on security professional with a deep understanding of industry best practices, regulatory requirements, and emerging threats. This role requires a strong blend of technical expertise, analytical skills, and excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.

Responsibilities

• GRC Framework Development and Implementation:
  • Lead the development, implementation, and maintenance of the organization's GRC framework, including policies, standards, procedures, and controls.
  • Conduct regular risk assessments and threat modeling to identify and prioritize security risks.
  • Develop and implement risk mitigation strategies and action plans.
  • Monitor and evaluate the effectiveness of security controls and make necessary adjustments.
• Regulatory Compliance:
  • Ensure compliance with relevant security regulations and industry standards (e.g., ISO 27001, NIST Cybersecurity Framework, GDPR, CCPA).
  • Advise on and assist with audits and assessments conducted by internal and external auditors.
  • Maintain and update compliance documentation.
• Incident Management:
  • Participate in incident management activities, including investigation, containment, and remediation.
  • Conduct post-incident reviews and develop corrective actions.
• Delivery excellene and Security Operations:
  • Collaborate with (Security peer groups/IT/IT Security) operations teams to ensure the security of IT systems and infrastructure.
  • Stay informed about emerging security threats and vulnerabilities.
  • Research and evaluate new security technologies and tools.
• Project Management:
  • Manage security-related projects, including implementation of new security controls and remediation of identified vulnerabilities.
  • Lead client meetings

• Communication and Collaboration:
  • Effectively communicate security risks and recommendations to management and stakeholders.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with internal and external partners.
  • Lead internal and external stakeholder communication
  • Maintain high-level of CSAT and support in escalation management

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Security, or a related field.
• 7 to 10 years of experience in the security domain.
• Relevant security certifications (e.g., CISSP, CISM, CISA, CRISC) preferred.
• International client exposure is MUST. US/ UK experience preferred
• Strong understanding of security frameworks and standards (e.g., ISO 27001, NIST Cybersecurity Framework).
• Experience with risk assessment methodologies and tools.
• Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
