Salesforce Inc. seeks Lead Product Security Engineer in San Francisco, CA:

Job Duties: Influence and define product security strategy for multiple business units and products. Partner closely with engineering, and product organization to drive strategic security initiatives.  Act as a Subject Matter Expert for multiple security domains, and mentor junior team members to drive the strategic initiatives. Scope and perform application security reviews of our full stack: web applications, APIs, and platform architectures. Provide engineers with well-researched security advice to demonstrate vulnerabilities and provide secure development guidance. Assist in the triage of vulnerabilities that are found internally, privately, or publicly disclosed, or reported through our bug bounty program. Produce research and collaborate with peers in the broader infosec and public cloud communities and industries. Constantly question existing security practices and routines, and update, replace, or automate them. Write and promote secure development practices for engineers. ˆHQ address additionally encompasses the following Salesforce locations in San Francisco: 350 Mission Street, 415 Mission Street, 50 Fremont Street. The permanent position may be offered at any of these locations in San Francisco. 

Minimum Requirements: Bachelor’s degree (or its foreign degree equivalent) in Computer Science, Computer Information Systems, Engineering (any field), or a related quantitative discipline, and five (5) years of progressively responsible experience in the job offered or in any occupation in a related field.

A related technical degree required (Computer Science, Computer Information Systems, Engineering (any field)).

Special Skill Requirements: (1) Threat Modeling; (2) Penetration Testing; (3) Code Reviews; (4) Product Security Assessments; (5) Cloud Security Assessments; (6) DAST and SAST tools; (7) Burp Suite; (8) Java or other computer languages like C or C++; (9) JavaScript or other scripting languages like Python or Ruby or PHP; (10) Infrastructure Security Assessments; (11) Security Bug Triages and Reviews; and (12) Security Tools Development. Any suitable combination of education, training and/or experience is acceptable. 

Salary: $184,579.00 - $288,000.00 per annum.
